Sports have become a popular culture phenomenon that hit many different realms. Sports has gone political (MLB steroid hearings, NCAA football rankings, etc), has economic implications (ticket sales, salary cap issues, etc), sports has influenced the way that we dress (Jordan brand, Nike, etc)and we even eat and drink products specifically for athletes (Powerbar, Gatorade).
